How to delete contacts on iphone?
How can i delete a contact from my iPhone? It won't show up on my contact list, but when i send a message it shows the names and the numbers of the people i deleted. This is a problem because sometimes i end up texting the wrong people. And it could be someone i haven't talked to in 6 months and i text them saying "what's up?" and end up replying with "oops wrong person" can be very awkward. I've invited people out this way, only to break it off. I feel bad.
so anyway how can i delete them permanently?
Well, your question is a bit confusing. But I will attempt my best to help you.
If you have there number, but don't have them as a contact (just in the messenger) you can delete the conversation by swiping to the left on that message. Then simply click delete!
If you want to delete a contact in your iPhone. 1) Go into your contacts. 2) click there contact. 3) Click 'Edit' on the top right hand corner. 4) Scroll down all the way until you see "Delete Contact". 5) Press "Delete Contact".
Note: If you are trying to delete a contact and the, "Delete Contact" is not there. It is an added contact from an application that you have allowing acess to your contacts. If you wan to remove them, go under "Un-Link" after preforming 3).
