How to delete emails on an iPhone?
I have a gmail account on my iPhone that has well over 3,000 items of junk mail on it. It is starting to take up a lot of space, and my phone is starting to only keep them marked as "unread". I really need some help, because also when I went on the gmail website, I couldn't find a way to delete the emails either.
You just slide your thumb over the email to the left and a red flag or dot will show and if you tap it it will ask if you want to delete it and then hit the delete button
- Why doesn't email delete on the gmail server when I delete them on iPhone? I've removed the archive feature on iPhone. So I get the delete option for my emails. I'm using the EXCHANGE server on iPhone for email.
- Why do my emails delete themselves automatically? Some but not all emails I received are deleted automatically. They are not spam or junk, but they are no where to be found - not in the trash/deleted messages, inbox, junk or spam. I know I received them because they show on the iPhone notification screen, but when I click on them, they are not there at all. Can't find it on computer, yahoo web mail, or iPhone hand set. This has happened since about a week ago. Any idea why and how to fix this?
- If I delete the twitter app on my iPhone, will it delete all the data on it? My twitter app is not loading and keeps saying there's an error. I know this isn't twitter's problem because all of my friends' twitters are working fine. I want to uninstall and reinstall it but by doing so, what will it all erase?
- If i delete pictures from my iPhone will they delete off my computer to? I plugged my iphone into my computer and it said all my pictures went into my laptop. If I delete them off my iphone will they delete off the computer too, the next time I sync it?
