How to disable- phone tracking in iphone 3gs -?
How do i turn off the mobile tracker in my iphone 3gs.
because, i'm currently facing the below issue.
everytime i insert a new sim in my iphone 3gs when i travel abroad, it sends out a message to a particular number and i get charged for international SMS for it.
how can i disable this.
was told there's some app available for it. Or is there any settings change to be made for this.
Go into Settings, then hit Mail, Contact, Calendars and click on the MobileMe account. Turn off Find My iPhone
Jailbreak your iPhone if you haven't already.
Open Cydia and tap on Search.
Type in "untrackerd".
Install untrackerd.
You're done! It simply runs a script in the background that will dump tracking information.
Again, anyone with an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 running iOS 4.3.3 does not need to use untrackerd as Apple addressed the issue in that firmware update. This is simply useful for those folks with an iPhone 3G or earlier that won't receive the fix.
