How to download an iPhone app without it showing up in the Purchased section of the app store?

I share an iTunes account with my parents and I want to install Kik to talk to people from online. Just friendly chat, nothing else. But my dad is always all suspicious about me "chatting" and all that, frequently accusing me of chatting/texting whenever he hears me laughing or sees me typing.

Is there any way I can download it without it showing up in the "Purchased" section of the app store?

You can't do that. You should just make another account and whenever you wanna download kik sign out of your familys account and sign in your secret account easy. Its not hard to make an account either

If the app is free you could get another itunes account (not linked to a credit card or an email they can access) and download it using that. If you look in the app store settings of your phone you will be able to log out of the itunes account and you can log into the new one, then log out of the new one and back into the main one, the app will stay on your phone but is not linked to the main itunes account. (This can also work if you use a friend's account but you need the password to.update the app if it ever needs an update)
