How to get a passcode screen to appear on my IPhone 4 S?
Help! I'm unable to get to a log-in screen on IPhone 4 S. I slide to unlock. The phone then goes to the icons screen and states "SEARCHING" in the top left-hand corner. I can't telephone or search the internet because my IPhone is not connected to the internet. Does anyone know how to fix this? I created an account and it worked fine 1 month ago. I didn't use the phone for 1 month, and now this problem started when I powered the phone on. My subscription should be good for another year.

- Iphone asking me for a passcode to install update. I never set up a passcode. Options? I just tried to update my iphone to 7.1.1 and i'm being asked for a passcode. I never set one up, but entered what I would have made it, and now have a message saying "FAILED. One more attempt". What happens if I get this final attempt wrong? How do I continue with update if I can't remember this passcode?
