How to get email notifications on my lock screen? (iPhone 5S, iOS 7)?
My email settings are on and set to "show on lock screen" for my three email accounts and, while I get a sound when an email comes in, an actual notification does not appear on the lock screen. Alerts are also not appearing in the notification centre, and that setting is turned on as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Settings > notification center >
scroll all way down > email > pick the email you want to change > show on lockscreen
- Notifications on iPhone 6 are not showing on the lock screen? Ever since I got my iphone (6), (I had an iPod 5 before) The notifications for some apps aren't showing even though when I go to settings, it says that they're all on.
- Not getting email notifications on iphone 4? I have 2 email accounts linked to the mail app on my iphone 4, one personal and 1 business but i only seem to get notifcations from the personal one. Only if i have the mail app open and refresh it will i get notified of any emails - which could have been from hours ago. i have checked the notification settings and they are both the same, show banner and show in lock screen, so why am i only getting notified by personal emails and not business?
- Iphone showing notifications on lock screen? I have an iphone 6 and when i'm on the lock screen (as in before putting in a passcode) i can swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom and see all of my notifications. Can i turn this function off? ta.
- IPhone 8 Plus - how do I clear all notifications at once on the lock screen? This is my first time having an iPhone so I'm still trying to figure things out. On the lock screen there's usually a patch of notifications that have the option to clear them out but above that there's a bunch that I individually have to swipe and press clear and that s a really big pain. Is there anyway that I can clear them all at once?
