How to get my iPhone 3 up-to-date?

So I just got an iPhone 3, my dad's old one from like four years ago. But… It's like stuck in its day. I can't tell what iOS it is, there's no GameCenter app, etc. This probably isn't important but apps like YouTube and Safari have the old picture. And how do you log out of the "Mail" and into another email?

By "up to date" i assume to mean to a curren IOS like 8.1, however anything iPhone 3GS and older can't go any higher than iOS 6.1.6

IPhone 3G is only supported to IOS 4.1. Apple has stopped making firmware's for iPhone 3G. So it's better to buy a new iPhone.

  • Trouble starting iphone app Shall We Date: Ninja Love? I've downloaded an app called "Shall We Date: Ninja Love". It's made by GREE, I've signed up and stuff, but whenever I open the app, it just won't start. It stays as a blank page. I've tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it multiple times - Nothing.
