How to get my iphone 3g to get ios5?
I put it in recovery mode and then i restored it with whited00r but it won't work Please Help ME!
Unfortunately the Iphone 3G does not support IOS5. Only iphone 3GS and up supports it.
You have to put your iphone 3g into a pwned DFU state to restore custom ipsw files google ireb and download it click iphone 3g put your iphone on dfu mode shift restore and there you go.
- Will my apps from my ios5.1 back up work on my new ios6? I want to update my iphone to ios6 but it can't be jailbroken yet, so i backedup my apps and everything on my itunes from my ios5.1, i was wondering if i restore them after i update to ios 6 will they still work? Specially whatsapp?
- Will iOS5 become obsolete soon? So I'm planning to buy a second hand iPhone 3Gs and I'll probably have it on iOS6 already. But I want to know how long apple will keep supporting iOS5/6 so that this phone doesn't go useless.
- Why does my iphone stays at IOS5.1.1 and won't allow me to update? It is already released iphone IOS6 for days but my phone stays at IOS5.1.1 and it says software is up to date but i know it wasn't. What should i do for me to update it?
- Is there a simple way to uninstall iOS6 and go back to iOS5 on my iphone? As title thanks. I use iPhone 4 and lost Googlemap after upgrade. Sure I can still access googlemap via Safari but it's just not as convenient. I'd like to roll back to iOS5. How do I do it please?
