Is there a simple way to uninstall iOS6 and go back to iOS5 on my iphone?

I use iPhone 4 and lost Googlemap after upgrade.
Sure I can still access googlemap via Safari but it's just not as convenient.
I'd like to roll back to iOS5.
How do I do it please?

No, you can't downgrade an iOS device. NEVER trust me… You just can't

You would have to wipe the phone and then restore from backup. However, iOS6 also does a firmware upgrade, so you might have to jailbreak the phone, load the old firmware from somewhere and then restore.
