How to get water put of an iPhone?
I was playing a game on my laptop and I have my little sister (1) my phone to play with. There was a plant with A LOT of water and she threw it in there. When I realized it was in there I quickly took it out and went to the blow dryer. I sucked all the loose water out and put the blow dryer against it. Then I put it in some rice but my dad came in and told me to take it out and put it back to the blow dryer. So I did. It's still drying right now. How can I get the water out faster? We're about to go to dinner and I'm worried. I got a one year warranty but it ended a few weeks ago -.-
Please Help ME! I already got my phone replaced once! I don't want to buy a new one! It's probably been in the water for about 1-3 hours:'(
Please Please Please Help!
Leave it in rice!
Put it in a bowl of rice in the fridge it will dry out the phone and it should still work fine, just make shure the ice you put it in is dry and uncooked.
Rice, rubbing alcohol and a cleaning rag. It works.
- My iPhone has water in it how can I get the water out? I got a little bit of water in it at my pool and it shutoff within a minute or so, it won't turn back on and I have had it in rice for over 10 hours.
- Is it too late to put iPhone in rice when water dripped inside? If a little bit of water dripped into the bottom of my iPhone 4S, is it too late to put it into rice 24hrs later when I believe the water is already dried. My volume doesn't work, only headphones do.
- Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
- Iphone submerged in water, logic board has water damage? My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
