Use iCloud and the pictures are synchronized automatically. The pictures are stored online where they can be retrieved via iPhoto if you are signed into iCloud. Or plug in your phone via USB and navigate to the DCIM folder on your phone to copy the pictures to a folder of your designation.
If you plug your phone into the mac's usb it should automatically synch up and ask you if you want to import the pics, or it may just do it.
Connect it through iTunes and you would be able to transfer it easily and if you need some advanced security, Leo Privacy Guard would be the best.

- How to transfer the pictures from my iPhone onto my iMac? On my PC, it was easy, I could just go onto the devices menu and copy my pictures onto the computer so I could clear more space on my iPhone, however on my iMac, I can't find any way of doing this! I'd like to do it manually if possible, rather than doing it via Bluetooth or whatever.
- How to sync my pictures from my iPhone to my iMac? Ok so a few months ago i went on a trip and took a lot of pictures and videos. When i came back, i synced my pictures and vids on to my computer and made a folder of them. After that, i used iTunes to put that folder on my phone but I'm now not able to delete it. I have since deleted the folder off my computer but the pictures are still on my computer but scattered around. I want to know if there's anyway i can take the folder full of pictures from my trip and put it on my computer.
