When you sync your iphone to your computer does it copy everything onto your pc?
I have broke my iphone to the point where it is un repairable, i only sync my iphone the other day to my pc does this mean everything what was on my iphone was copied and saved to it? Or have i lost everything?
Yes, When you sync your iPhone with your PC, unless you have unticked certain items, everything will be backed up to your PC.
When you fix your iPhone or get a new one - plug it in and restore the phone from a back up. The most recent one. This will then put the new phone into the same state as your old one. All your Apps, settings, music, messages, photos etc.
- Why does my Computer take forever to copy files to my Desktop now? My computer was working fine until yesterday. All of the sudden it takes 2 hours to copy 20 videos from my iphone to my computer. I do this All the time and it takes no longer than 20 secs to copy the files to my desktop. But yesterday and today it's been taking up to 2 hours. I have windows 7 and an HP computer. It's practically a brand new PC.
- When you restore your iphone, does it wipe out everything from your itunes? I understand that it will wipe out everything from your physical iphone, but i was wondering if it would wipe out everything on your itunes account to, such as music.
- Songs from iTunes won't copy onto iPhone? Every time I click "Sync" on iTunes a pop-up comes up; "Some of the items in the iTunes library were not copied to the iPhone because they could not be found." It plays the songs that were "not found" in iTunes, but not on my phone.
- If I sync JUST music to iPhone on a new computer - do I lose everything? Hi, my computer is broken and in for repair but I want new music on my iPhone. If I plug my iPhone into my laptop (after unticking 'allow devices to auto-sync') and ONLY sync music… Will I lose everything on my phone or will my music just change? It suggests in a warning I can only sync to one computer and I'd lose everything - but I don't know if this 'everything' is actually everything - like my pictures - or just all my current music - which would be fine.
