How to know if my text go though to people?

I'm in a little bit of a dilemma. Basically I sent my friend a text basically telling her that she is a very special and beautiful young woman and I miss her because earlier this year she moved outta state and I haven't got a text back from her and it's been almost a whole day. She knows that I like her already and we're really close friends I spoke to her about a couple a weeks ago checking up to she if she was ok and a week ago I sent her a picture of a new bar and told her that I would take her there one day and I haven't gotten a response from that either. It could possibly my connection speed getting cut slower because att wants to punish me for having unlimited data plan and they reward me by reducing the connection speed every month. I have a galaxy s5 and she has a iPhone 6 if that helps a bit. Now that I remember, I did send a text to my dad and he didn't respond either. So it could be my phone or she might be busy but usually she texts me immediately after I text her but she hasn't texted me back last week or this week after I sent her a text. It's shows my text messages went through though so i don't know

Wait a few days and send a test text asking her something casual that she can reply too

  • People that buy iphones don't know anything about technology did you know that? Like my friend just brought iphone and I asked him if it has 4g late he said what's that? Then I asked how fast is the processor like 1.2 dual people buy them because its more mainstream and because their friends have iPhones Samsung is way better based on specs and technology the iPhone 4s and 4 processors are very slow
  • People keep calling me and I don't know who they are? I have a iphone 4 and I keep getting calls from people saying that I called them first, and I know didn't, their numbers aren't even in my recents. Today I got a call from a random saying to stop calling her and thought I was a telemarketer… How can I make this stop? And how did this even happen?
  • People I don't know appearing in iPhone 4s contacts? I have an iPhone 4s, and I just looked in my contacts and found a bunch of contacts that I've never added. It shows their names and numbers, and I don't know any of these people. Does someone else have their contacts connected to mine somehow? I don't use iCloud, by the way.
  • Is there any way I can use my deceased father's iphone X even though I don't know his password or his e-mail password? My dad passed away recently. He had a fairly new iPhone X. I'd like to use it as my own phone but I don't know the passcode. I watched a video on how to restore the phone but I still can't use it because the phone is connected to an itunes account… And since i don't know his e-mail password, i can't reset it. I went to AT&T (where we were on a family plan) but they said they can't help me. Is his nearly new phone destined to be a paper weight?
