How to know if the Wi-Fi you are connected to is limited or unlimited?
So i'm connected right now to my neighbor Wi-Fi using my iphone 4 running on iOS 7.1 (not jailbroken) (please don't say that is illegal because i know and i'm ready to suffer it's consequence) and i do not know if its limited or unlimited so is there any way to find out just by using my cellphone. I don't want to connect via laptop because he might know that i'm connected to his router… I need to know if its limited or unlimited because i want to download a 700MB game off the app store
"Limited" means you can connect to the router, but can't get to the Internet. That could be because they have MAC filtering on, blocking anyone they do not "approve". There's not such thing as "unlimited" in connections. All "limited" means is that you have a connection to the router, and are limited as to how far you can go. Next (and only) step is Internet connection. Thus that "limited" term just means whether you have Internet connection or not…
It depend on your neighbor internet connection plan
- Wi-Fi Connected - but no internet on devices connected? Hi, The Problem is - i set up a wireless network today for my Iphone 5 and my blackberry, from my main desktop at home, and all went well and Both are connected to it, as well as my laptop. But now whenever i try using the internet on these devices ( iphone etc ) it does not work, although the main desktops internet is working… Can anyone help me? I'm using WINDOWS 7.
- What happens when you download an app that was free for a limited time? I downloaded a bunch of apps that were free for a "limited" time, but not anymore. Now I have to restore my iphone. Will the apps be registered to my Apple ID as purchased, or will they charge me if I try to download it again? I don't want to mistakenly purchase an app.
- What does it mean when your internet says connected with limited access? I have a windows vista that's 2008. My house internet went down yesterday so I had to take the plug out of the internet and plug it back in after 10 minutes. Then everything worked but today my laptop says connected with limited access but my iPad internet and iPhone works fine. So what to do? I tried everything on google but it didn't work. My sister said its like something I downloaded but I didn't download anything since like 2 weeks. So what to do?
- People that buy iphones don't know anything about technology did you know that? Like my friend just brought iphone and I asked him if it has 4g late he said what's that? Then I asked how fast is the processor like 1.2 dual people buy them because its more mainstream and because their friends have iPhones Samsung is way better based on specs and technology the iPhone 4s and 4 processors are very slow
