How to put passport on iPhone 6 +?
We're going to Italy and I'm getting my passport in a couple of weeks. I noticed this app called PASSbook and I was wondering can you put your actual passport on your phone through that app. It seems like it's meant only for plane tickets/boarding passes but I thought I would ask anyway. So if you can please explain how.
The only thing I can suggest is that you scan the relevant pages of your passport into a computer and then email yourself the jpeg or upload it to the phone. You would not be able to use an electronic copy of your passport, but if you want a copy just in case you lose yours, that is the only way I know how. It looks as if Passbook is a tool to replace paper and plastic, so retains the information which was on the card or barcode.
- What is the Passport app for iPhone? I don't get it. Like what do I do with it? All that comes up is a page that has a few things and at the bottom it says App Store and that's the only thing that works. What is this app for?
