How to read the iPhone Stocks App?

IPhone Stock App (That is BUILT in)

Ok, when you tap the App you have the stocks, correct? Ok Right on the left side of the green/red buttons, what does those numbers mean? Is that the amount of how much the stocks costs?

I'm a little new to this. I'm just studying stocks whenever I actually buy my own.

Yeah, when you tap the left size, there's a girl advertisement picture and click it and you'd read how much girl cost.

There are actually three numbers there. They change if you tap them. The current stock price, the Market Cap and the price change.

There's a lot of information that you can get in this app, so I'll break it down. First off, if you want to track a particular stock, you the information button (bottom right on the screen) to search for, add, remove, and reorganize the order of the stocks.

Next, the numbers that are in the middle are what the stocks are currently trading at. The green/red buttons tell you if that stock is up or down for the day (green means its up, red means its down). If you touch the green/red button, it will toggle between the $ value that stock is up or down, the % its up or down, or its market cap.

If you are tracking more than 6 stocks, you can swipe up or down on the screen to see the rest of them.

Below the window with all the stocks is an area that gives you information relevant to the highlighted stock. There are 3 pages in that window (swipe right or left to change the page). One gives you news, one gives you a summary (previous close, open value, range, etc.) and the last gives you a graph of that stocks performance over 1 day, 5 days, 1 month, etc.

Hope that helps.
