How to receive iMessages still on an old iPhone not in use?
I was wondering if it would be possible to still somehow activate an old iPhone to receive texts. The story is, my boyfriend upgraded to an iPhone 5, he left his iPhone 4s at my house about a month a go now. & he's been acting shady. Is there a way I could still receive texts sent to him on this old phone? He has the same number. Or is there a way to receive his texts knowing his Apple ID? Any help would be great!
If you know his Apple ID password and email you can log in and receive all iMessage sent texts from the moment you log in, but if he sends text messages you can't see them unless you have his actual phone. Hope this helps
Apple ID needed to turn on iMessage in settings. Granted phone would have to be connected to Wi-Fi since no cell signal for it now. But will only get iMessages and not regular texts from non iPhones.
But if you know Apple ID of his then you can track whereabouts if 'find' is activated on current handset.

Best luck.
- Will I still receive missed imessages when I leave a Wi-Fi area? My iphone 4s currently has no service as in the phone is shut off. However, I still can send iMessages. My question is if I iMesssage someone and I leave the Wi-Fi area will I receive their response message when I find another Wi-Fi area or will I just never receive it?
- Why will my iPhone not receive iMessages for my phone number? I bought an unlocked iPhone and i was texting people through iMessage when I had Wi-Fi. Now I'm getting messages through normal texts only. When I go to the "Send & Receive" option under message settings, my phone number is there but it is gray in color and I can't select it. All the email addresses on the account can be selected but not my phone number. Can anyone help me?
- Why is my Iphone not sending as Imessages and receiving iMessages from one person? I'm texting my wife and we both have iPhone's and she is getting the messages as an iMessage but the ones I'm sending her on my end show up at green. Sometime it will go as blue, get the little red exclamation point then send as regular SMS. I'm texting someone else too and she has an iPhone, and she is getting mine as regular iMessages and mine are sending as regular iMessages. Why aren't they sending to me wife as iMessages?
- Why can't i receive imessages? I got a new iphone a month ago and imessaging was working fine on it then last week I stopped receiving imessages. I can still send them though. I've tried erasing my old phone and turning off imessage and that didn't work
