How to set up a home Wi-Fi for when i go away but not needing internet?
I was just wondering if i can set up home Wi-Fi at a holiday house for when i go away because the place does not have internet therefore it won't have a modem for home Wi-Fi, i just want the use of home Wi-Fi so i can use my apple tv and play videos off my iphone and ipad, and also so i can play remote play from my ps4 to my psvita, i was wondering if it is possible to bring up my old modem and plug that in without setting up the internet features and just using that as a home Wi-Fi device is that posible? If not, or if it is posible, what other things could i do to set up home Wi-Fi that could be easier or better than that?
Some wireless routers have that facility, they will work with no Internet connection. It is the easiest way. Try it at home with the Internet cord out. If not you can buy a wireless access point, but you might need to manually set all the TCP/IP configuration for each machine.
You still need internet in vacation house. You can buy it from phone or cable company for 1month.Modem and router by itself don't produce Wi-Fi. When you will have internet there you can, sure use modem and router.

- Needing to know how much data a radio app uses? - 1 I have an app for a radio station and when I press play it says buffering and all, and then streams the music. I'm wandering how much data it uses in an hour. It doesn't tell you how much and it doesn't say on the description in the app store, in case you couldn't tell its an iPhone. I don't think it uses a whole lot, meaning more than 300mb, or at least I wouldn't think it would.

After a while the screen in my old phone wouldn t turn up or show anything. Nothing is wrong with the phone except the screen. The problem is that I can't see anything and I want to sell the phone. And I would like to take out all my information and reset it but I'm not able to, unless I fix the screen which I'm not looking to do.
