How to stop talking back or being sassy to people?

My my ordered my new iPhone today and she said right when I be sassy she will take it away. But I always do All of the chores but occasion she does do something. But normally all she does is Cook. I always complain of course I'm a teen I'm suppose to do those thing. But all she does is yell at me! I'm trying to help that is why I'm reaching out to complete strangers for advice!

Maybe you have a way of saying things that sounds disrespectful what i do is just nodd my head whenever my mom yelled at me and eventually she would stop but what ever she keeps yelling at you for try to keep that in mind so when you fix it (it may not be chores) she would see that you are listening to her… And/or it might be her own personal problems i would suggest you to do this with her and talk to her and maybe get a relationship close for her politely tell you what's really on her mind (caring ideas: tell her you love her every day, remember her birthday, or buy her favorite Fragrance) that's how i became close with my mother

LOL, "my my" that made me erupt. Okay, so the best way to not talk back to your mum is to LISTEN. The funny thing about listening is when you are doing this properly, you are not talking. Hence, no talking back.

Once she sees that you absorbed what they said chances are she will run out of things to say and begin talking about the weather.

You should know that no matter how controlling you think she is, she loves you and is doing her best to make sure you know the things you need to know before you have a life and family of your own.

In ten to twenty years, you are going to be just like your mum and your child will be the one wondering how to keep from talking back to you.

I can tell by your attitude that you deserve a slap in the mouth. Being a teenager is NOT a license to be sassy, complain, insulting, or anything else except thankful to your parents for giving you the things that you have. I'd yell at you too. You know what you need/should do. DO IT!
