How to tell if dead iPhone is charging?
Added (1). My iPhone died this morning. I have two chargers, both of which require me to play around with before they charge. If I unplug it, it has a red flashing battery with a lightning bolt and charger underneath. If I plug it in, it just has a non-flashing red battery. It has been plugged in for 30 minutes now and it still is showing the red battery without turning on.

If you press the on button, it should show an image of a battery and i think the charge inside the battery image is suppose to move, don't know I that makes sense but it will have an image of a battery anyhow but WITHOUT a little lighting symbol at the bottom.

- Ipod Touch/Iphone charging keep it unplugged from your sound system while charging? Just called up apple and found out the answer, decided to share it with the world to keep your sound systems safe. If your charge your ipod touch or Iphone, Have it unplugged from your sound system. Cheers. kind of agree with you man, But my logitech z5500 system is like $1000 new right now… Insane, don't want to take a chance. But your probably right.
- IPhone 5s charging from dead? I've had my iphone 5s since Christmas time and yesterday was the first time it had ever completely ran out l battery. This was due to broken charger so I had to wait to get new one. I'm currently using an adapter that changes an old iPhone cable to lighting. When I plug this in it shows the lighting plug and flashing battery. It stayed like this for an hour with no sign of turning on.It never any issues before the battery running out.
- IPhone 5 charging, then not charging? I plug in my phone and it charges and then stops charging. So it's like constantly vibrating. I just got a new cable so I don't think that's it. No water damage. Any ideas? Or a quick, SAFE fix until I can get it looked at. I leave for camp tomorrow or I'd go do it then.
