How to tell if my email was read?
I would just like to know if an email is read when I sent it. How do I do that through the gmail of iphone mail APP. Is there a certian setting I have to do?
Not sure if all services allow it but you can mark it as "important", but else i can't mind an idea.

In outlook there's a setting that allows someone to get a receipt when the email is opened. I turn this off by selecting Never send a read receipt. I'm not sure if gmail has a similar setting.
- Will my iPhone tell the person I read his text? I got a text and read it and remembered that my read receipts were off so I know it'd still say delivered on his phone. After I read the text, I went to go turn on my read receipts. Will it change right away from delivered to read even though I changed the settings after or will it still say delivered for him since I read it before I changed it?
- Wait - on the iPhone, they tell you when a person has read your message? I don't own an iPhone, never had, might get one in a couple of days… But I was on instagram, and this girl posted a convo with her and her boyfriend, and underneath her message it said "Read 10:15 PM" So I was just wondering.

- Is there anyway to tell if someone read your text? I have an iPhone but the person I texted doesn't is there anyway to find out if they open the text. I have at & t if that matters 14 minutes ago - 4 days left to answer.
