How to transfer paid apps from your old iPhone to your new one?
I had an iPhone 4s, and there were a few apps I wanted but they costed money, so my friend let me log into her iTunes account (she already had the apps) so I could get them on my phone. But I got a new iPhone (5s, iOS 8) and while I can redownload (from the cloud option in the app store) all my other apps, these three paid apps don't have that option and I would have to pay for them to get them on my new phone. Please tell me how to get them transferred to my new phone, I've tried everything and have no clue, it's like I d never had them before.

ITune apps and other iTunes purchases are forever tied to the Apple ID used to buy them. You will not be able to transfer, update or use the apps, because they are not yours. Message apple or the developers! Just backup on itunes, then when you setup your new phone it will ask if you want to copy everything. You can't use someone else's account, thats means its theirs not yours, and if you leave your phone under their account they can actually watch everywhere you go. You should never let someone else's account be on your phone. They can also remotely wipe your phone if they want because their icloud account is now on it and you can't even remove it now without their password! The apps can be transferred, as long as they are registered under your Apple ID, which they aren't in this case. They are under your friend's own Get them free! ITunes won't allow you to sync apps from iPhone to iPhone to directly. You can try to use some third-party tools like AnyTrans or CopyTrans to transfer apps from old iPhone to the new one.

I use Straight Talk and it says on their website that I have an incorrect serial number. The Apple store didn't give me one and the serial number that's in my new phone doesn't work.
