How to turn off email notifications on iPhone at night?

I have all of my email accounts go to my phone and have some companies that send automated emails at 2 am every morning. I can't just turn my phone on silent as my husband works nights and want to make sure I hear my phone ring if it does at all. I thought you could set emails to only come through at certain times but maybe not?

No you can always go in to the app settings and just turn it off before you go to bed and then turn it on when you wake up.

If you have the later versions of iOS go into your settings app then choose do not disturb and set it up there. It can allow only what you specify during the timeframe you choose and stop all others from coming through.

You could go to setting>notifications and in notification center bar choose the email app, there you can change the setting of incoming emails alerts for each of you accounts. You can also turn on DO NOT DISTURB for certain times, it includes alerts and face time calls. But I'm not sure about the emails.

Could use Do Not Disturb but allow calls from your husband's number. That way only his calls would alert you & nothing else. Could also set a schedule for it so it is done automatically.

Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and turn on do not disturb. It's the icon that looks like a crescent moon. If he calls 3 times in a row your phone will ring.
