How to turn off Twitter notifications on iPhone?
I turned on Twitter notifications for this person I was seeing in concert so that I would get their tweets sent to my phone as a text as well as a banner notification. Then, today I turned off notifications, or at least I thought. I'm not getting the texts anymore, but I'm still getting the banner notifications. And this person tweets a lot, so I really don't want them. Does anyone know how to turn these off in Twitter settings?
Settings>>Scroll Down Until You See FaceBook and Twitter>>Click On Twitter. Then make the notification changes.
Go to notifications
Go to the person's Twitter page, tap the gear icon & you should see the option to turn off notifications.
- Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?

Since I've downloaded that new twitter update a few days ago it shows that red exclamation mark next to my twitter app on my iPhone whenever somebody favourites my tweet… And I hate it!
