How to turn on Tumblr notifications?

I have an iPhone 5 and I would like it to notify me when someone reblogs/likes/follows me but here's the things… Everyone is telling me to go to settings>notifications>tumblr but Tumblr isn't in my notification centre? I have the app and it works fine but I can't find out how to turn on the notifications. Also if I just scroll down in settings Tumblr isn't there…

The Tumblr app doesn't notify you of these things… However if you still want these notifications Tumblr will notify you through email. You can change what you are notified about on your settings page.

Then, today I turned off notifications, or at least I thought. I'm not getting the texts anymore, but I'm still getting the banner notifications. And this person tweets a lot, so I really don't want them. Does anyone know how to turn these off in Twitter settings?
