How to turn on your screen orientation from settings on an iPhone 4s?

I have ios8 and the bottom of my screen completely stopped working, so now i can't text or anything, and i also can't slide the box thing up to turn on the screen orientation. I can't find anything for it in settings, where is it?

Only way to flip the screen is to jailbreak your device which is only possible if you haven't update past IOS 8.1.2.

I recently switched from android to iPhone and with my old phone I could easily switch from portrait to landscape on my phone, even when browsing videos. But on my new iPhone I can't seem to do that and I can only go landscape when I make my videos full screen. This gets annoying when browsing because I have to keep turning my phone to browse. (Yes, I have unlocked the orientation lock) please help!
  • What settings will it change if I press reset all settings on my iPhone? Also, will this help speed up my iPhone because that's what I've heard. Because my iPhone has been so slow lately and taking like 3-5 minutes to send 1 text. If you know of any other ways that could help speed that up please also let me know that.
  • My iphone isn't changing orientation? It was working earlier today but it isn't working anymore. The portrait orientation is unlocked so it shouldn't be doing this. Any suggestions to fix this. I do not want to reset my phone.
  • My iPhone 5s won't rotate, it has ios 8.01, and the portrait orientation is not turned on? I want to play a racing game and I need to be able to tilt the phone in order to steer the car, but that won't work either. Like i said i checked the button that locks the landscape mode, but it is not turned on. I have reset the phone numerous times and it still is not working, any help would be appreciated
