How to turn the wireless on from my laptop for my iphone to use?
I use a compaq laptop with vista and why i'm at uni i need to a signal for my phone and i use my flatmates but when she hasn't got her on i don't get a signal at all i need help on how to set it up for my phone to have a wireless signal for the internet?
It's called tethering.
Look in the settings or google it.
You then need encryption unless you want it open and for all your neighbours to use your allowance.
It will either provide you with a shared key or you have to put one in.
