How to Unlock iPhone 5/4S Australia Vodafone / Telstra?
I have 3 iPhones locked to Australian networks.
My iPhone 5 is locked to Vodafone (baseband 1.00.16)
My brother's iPhone 4S is locked to Telstra (baseband 3.0.04)
My girlfriend's iPhone 4 is locked to Optus baseband (baseband 4.12.02)
Gevey isn't working anymore, and I wanna unlock them to use it outside Australia, I heard about the IMIE factory unlock, how can I do this?
There are three solutions for unlock, ultrasn0w (software), Gevey SIM (hardware) and IMEI factory unlock (remote unlock).
Ultrasn0w and Gevey SIM are good and cheap solutions but they are limited for specific basebands. So I recommend the official IMEI factory unlock which turns your iPhone to factory unlocked iPhone, so that you will update to any iOS version without any baseband restrictions.
All you have to do is to send your IMEI (you can find your IMEI here Settings > General > About) and send them for the IMEI unlocker, and wait for 24-48 hours, then you will be requested to restore your iPhone via iTunes, then you will get this message "Congratulations, your iPhone has been unlocked"

For iphone 4s Gevey should work.
