How to use the coaxial port on my pc to play games or watch tv?

I have a dell pc that has the monitor and speakers built in. It is running windows vista. On the back it has a coaxial port. I want to play my GameCube on the pc so I got an rf modulator and hooked that way. (I realize this is all very 2003) I can't seem to access that coaxial port from anywhere in the control panel. When I plug anything else into the computer via the usb ports, (i.e. My iPhone) windows automatically recognizes and syncs with the device. This is not the case for the coaxial port. It seems like it doesn't do anything. Can anyone help? Is there some kind of software I could download to access the coaxial port?

It's most likely an analog TV Tuner card - with appropriate software and a TV antenna connected, you would be able to watch directly on the PC.

You need to identify the type of card and get the appropriate driver and control software for it.

If you go through the device list in Device manager (in the control panel), you should be able to find it either as a listed device or in the "unknown devices" category.

I feel like i'm the only one who feels this way but in this world if you don't like sports then most of society looks at you with a dirty look appearently because i'm not a follower of trends and i don't follow social norms like all the sheep do who buy iphones drink watch tv for a hobby and cheer mindlessly at sporting events i'm the one who's the loser because i choose not to be a sheep and follow the trend of this captialistic and materialistic society
  • Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?

  • IPhone changing port broke, can i use charging mat? So, the charging port to my iPhone 4s is broke. No charger will work more then a few seconds. If I buy a charging mat will it work to charge my phone or does the mat still need some some connection through the port? Any suggestions on fixing this without paying an arm and leg?
