How to use the Net10 sim card?

I have an iPhone that is no longer jn service, I purchased the net10 sim card that is suppose to work with the iPhone. I've switched the sim cards and called the company to get help but they had no clue. I know you have to purchase the calling card but do I have to change anything in my settings?

I'm going to assume your device used to be with AT&T or T-Mobile or it is unlocked. You will be using Net10's BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) program, which requires unlimited service (min $45 a month). You stated you purchased the micro SIM card to go with your iPhone; you need to purchase the airtime. Once you install the SIM and add the airtime, the phone should work immediately. However, you might want to visit a dealer to make sure your phone is unlocked before you spend any more money:
"Q: If I want to use my own phone, how do I know if it is unlocked?

A: If your phone is GSM and accepts a SIM card, you may try to borrow a friends SIM card on another network and insert it into your current phone to see if it will make a phone call. If you do not have a SIM card to test, you may visit a local retailer to help determine if your phone is unlocked. Once you have determined that your phone is unlocked, you will only need to purchase a SIM card and airtime to begin using our service once you have programmed it."

Sabrina's answer was spot-on! Just make sure that you are using a sim card that is compatable with the old service carrier. Like, if it was an AT&T iPhone, you need to make sure that you have the AT&T Net10 sim card. If it was a T-Mobile iPhone, you need to make sure you have the T-Mobile Net10 sim card. You might have to change your APN, read this for more details: www.net10.com/byop_apn/index.jsp
