How to use the scientific calculator for iPhone 4s?

It is Really confusing. The parentheses don't even work? How do you work on the parentheses?
also, I want to write it like 20sin12 for example. [or 20(sin12)] how do I make it work!
and I've learned that if you want to get the cos of 20 (or cos20) you need to write it like 20 then cos.
then there's x(square root sign) y, y^x, 1/x… How the heck do you use these?

btw. I have calculator but sometimes I'm just lazy to find it in my bag and I could make use of this phone's calculator too.

I also have the iphone 4s and the calculator sucks… Download a free one from the app store… Id recommend Calculator# uts free and works really well

  • Need an iPhone calculator app? On my iPad i have an app called "calculator HD - prettycalc", that has a button where I can add tax to an any total I compute or put in via one button press (able to set the tax rate in the settings). I find this much easier than multiplying any total by my tax rate and then trying to remember the total to add it back on to.So, does anyone know of a iPhone calculator app that has this?
