I can't restore my iPhone 6?
I had my phone fixed from somewhere and they had taken the Touch ID out, and since then I haven't been able to update my iPhone. The software I have now is iOS 9.1 and it needs to update to iOS 9.1.2
I need to restore my phone because I have no space on it regardless of how much data i delete, however it says that it will restore my iphone when the software has downloaded. I've been waiting for the software to download for about 20 minutes now and it hasn't done anything. How do I restore my iPhone without updating it because I really need to restore it.
You need to hook it to your computer. It needs to be done on iTunes on your
computer.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- Is there a way you can restore an iPhone to the settings of another iPhone? Like if you have an iPhone and someone else who lives in your house like in your family has an iPhone too, can you restore it to the settings of their phone, so you have all of their music, photos, etc. On YOUR phone? Or is this not possible yet?
- If you disabled FindMyiPhone to restore your device, will the app be enabled again after the restore? A few weeks ago I upgraded to the iPhone SE and I restored the data from my iPhone 4s onto it. (I had to disable FindMyiPhone in the process). Little did I know that it would be lost/stolen 2 weeks later. Really need to know if FindMyiPhone would be enabled because I want to know if I still have any hope at all finding it. Thanks. I tried the app already… Says it's offline. Been waiting since.
- If I restore my iPhone will it restore other devices using the same apple ID? My mum using the same apple ID as me an is worried that if I restore my phone then it will delete all of her photos and stuff to. Our phones are kind of linked through the ID but that's all.
