I deleted my email account on my iPhone 5c and now my contacts keep changing?

I deleted my email because it wasn't loading any of my mail and I thought that deleting it (not the icon or app) would restore it back. But then after I deleted all my iMessage contacts were gone which was quite a lot of people. Even though I tried changing all of them to their names, most keep changing back to their email names or numbers which frustrates me more. How do I solve this? All the numbers are gonna just iMessages.

You gotta add the email again… Then delete it and choose "keep contacts", that's the way you do it with Facebook, I think it works the same way?

When I go into my contacts and delete them, they're gone but I can go into messages and type in that person's name and it will still be there for me to text. When I text them, it shows up as their number not their name, but my phone remembers it for me to contact them. How do I get rid of this? When I delete a number I don't want to have any access to it. I've tried deleting it off iCloud and my phone, no luck. Any advice? X
  • My contacts keep changing into my parent's contacts? I'm using my Dad's old iPhone 4, so it has all of his data. I cleared out everything that was his but I hate the part where each time my parent's add a new contact to their phone, everything syncs over to my contacts, so I'm scrolling down my list and see a new person I don't know but my parents do.
