I dropped my iphone 4 in water?
I dropped my iphone 4 in the toilet bowl for about 5 seconds. It was fully submerged then i took it out. It was flickering then it turned off. I searched online on how to fix it. It says I have to put it in a container of dry, uncooked rice. So I did that, for 10 hours. I took it out. It was able to appear on iTunes. I restored it and right now everything is there… There's just one problem - THE SCREEN WON'T TURN ON! Everytime i press the home and the lock button simultaneously it gives a beep vibrate type of sound… Anyone know how I can repair this! (other than taking to an apple store)
Hmm, I think you should take it to apple store.
Once your phone has fallen into the water, you should have taken it out of the water, take out the battery, and bake both for about 5 mins on low, but ya, too late now, you weren't supposed to turn it on right away, yes, you should take it to the apple store, but I hardly doubt they'd do anything unless you paid for apple care.

- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
