I dropped my iphone 5S in water? - 1
Okay so i dropped my iphone 5S in water about 2 and a half hours ago,
i immediately took it out and dried it as much as possible, and because i have a cracked screen, and all of the upper right hand corners glass has come of, the water must have gotten through and the water started seeping in to the screen, i turned it off and put it in a zip lock bag full or rice, and its been there for the past 2 hours now.
I just turned it on to see if anythings happened, and it was all cloudy, the right half bright and left side really grey, and there were dots everywhere.
I checked to see if there was the red light but there was nothing so no internal damage, i think anyway.
I've put it back in the bag and in a drawer for the nights, its 1 am now and i need to have it turned on by atleast 4pm tomorrow afternoon,
Would it be okay to use tomorrow if its not cleared up by then?
Will this ever go away?
oh and on monday (its saturday today) I'm suppose to be getting a new screen put on, would that help either?
Yo leave it in the bag for 2 days. Stop taking it out and turning it back on.
i think you already ****** it up beyond repair if you turned it on already
There's extreme screen damage. Take it to the apple store or where you got it from. I thing you voided the warranty by turning it on. You will have to fork out cash for the repair.
- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
- I dropped my iPhone in water - 3 I just dropped my phone in water about a minute ago(it's 9:25 PST). I hurried up and got it out dried it off as fast as I could. It was working fine until now. It keeps popping up "charging not supported on this device" and also I just found out the sound isn't working! Now I can't even listen to all the money I spent on my songs. Is there anything to help this? I was thinking I can back it up on iTunes? Would that help? I don't know I just need major help please.

The phone turned off by itself and about a few minutes ago i went to check and my phone was hot. So i'm wondering if i should keep it in the rice or do something else?
