I dropped my iphone in water and it keeps going on and off?
It keeps going on and off for the past hour sitting in rice and I'm very worried because me and my sister share this phone and I dropped my old iphone in water about a year ago and it didn't make it. Please tell me what to do!
Just leave it in the rice for longer, if its only been in there for an hour I wouldnt stress too badly about it yet.
Take it out of the rice and blow dry it first with hot air. Stick in rice after. Rice can't get inside the phone. A hair dryer will dry it but it is probably fried. Once a cell phone gets wet, water is a conductor. It fuses the electronic components together by rusting out the contacts and corroding the mother board components almost instantly. I sell and repair phones for 7 years now. I've gotten some older ones working before but smartphones once wet the chances of it working again properly is about 10%. It will either auto shut off and on, power down in the middle of a call, mic or speaker will stop working, dropped calls, static in speaker, or it won't charge back up. There's a company on eBay that attempts to repair water damage but it's a 50/50 it will work. They use some alcohol solution to clean all the contacts inside and remove the corrosion but most won't work after. Sell it for parts on eBay if you can't get it to work after
- What to do if your iPhone 4S keeps going off by itself? My iphone keeps going off by itself and turning back on by itself. Like if I get on one of my apps, my screen turns black and goes off by itself and turns back on. I tried resetting my iPhone 2 times but it still does this. Can someone please help me with this because its so annoying.

- My Internet keeps going off and then back on? I'm not much for computer things, but I have a computer, iPod, iPad, and iPhone. And the Wi-Fi on all of them keeps turning off for about 10-15 minutes and then comes back on. I tried calling Comcast, which is what we use, and they were only trying to charge us for things that didn't sound necessary. So what should I do? Or better yet, what can I do?
