It was a free Iphone 4. I want to get a new one. Will Apple make me pay or will I Get a replacement for free, because a brand new one is free too?
What makes you think they would just give you a free one because you can't take care of it? Of course they won't, they aren't charge of taking care of things for you.
No and No. No #1 Applecare one year warranty is only for defects--not damage by you. No. #2. You got it free on a contract from your mobile carrier. Doesn't matter if no phone anymore, you still have to pay at least the early termination fee which is probably $300+ USD or pay the whole bill. Carrier will not give you another free phone. Try to dry out and have repaired at a shop or you will have to buy another phone at full price.

The free iphones retail for $450 and are free only when opening a new contract. You can only start a new contract once every 2 years. So, if the phone is broken you will either need to purchase a new one for $450, fix it at apple's store, or do it yourself.

They won't give you a new iPhone if there are any traces of water in it at all. I had to get a new iPhone because my buttons were sticky and they had to make sure that I didn't do it by getting it wet.

- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
- I dropped my iPhone in water - 3 I just dropped my phone in water about a minute ago(it's 9:25 PST). I hurried up and got it out dried it off as fast as I could. It was working fine until now. It keeps popping up "charging not supported on this device" and also I just found out the sound isn't working! Now I can't even listen to all the money I spent on my songs. Is there anything to help this? I was thinking I can back it up on iTunes? Would that help? I don't know I just need major help please.
