I forgot my iPhone 5 password?
My friends thought it would be funny to change my password, but now they can't remember it anymore! How can I access my Iphone 5 again. I don't mind resetting my whole phone, it's very new anyway. I have iTunes on my PC, if that helps! Any help/guidance would be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hook it up to iTunes, do a factory reset.
Restoring your device from backup. This technique erases all the content on your device--including the passcode--and replaces it with a backup of your choosing. At that point, you can choose to set a new passcode or forgo one and save yourself this trouble again.
This works best, of course, if you have access to the computer your regularly sync your iPhone or iPod touch with and have a recent backup of your data. If you don't, anything added to the device between when you last synced and when you restore it will be lost.
You can bypass the lock screen by using the iphone recovery mode. However, this will require you to restore your iphone, meaning it may lose all your data and will be back on factory settings (just like a brand new phone). I suggest you keep a backup. But do this as your last resort.
How to:
1. Disconnect the USB cable from your iphone but leave the other end connected to your pc.
2. Launch iTunes
3. Press and hold the home button and power button on top of the iphone and it will turn off the device.
4. Press and continue to hold the home button while you reconnect the USB cable to your iphone and this will turn on your phone.
5. Continue to hold the home button until you see an alert message from iTunes that says recovery mode has been detected.
Now the iphone is in the recovery mode, restore the device.
1. From iTunes, look under the summary Tab.
2. Click the "restore" button
This will wipe all the files, settings, and apps including your passcode. After restoration is done, your phone is back to its factory settings. You can use the backup that you have from your computer with iTunes or by using your Apple ID and restore it from iCloud backup.
Put it in recovery mode which is holding the on/off button and the home button at same time. Ignoring the slide to turn off message. When the screen goes blank let go of the on/off button keeping hold of home button for 10 secs. Then let go. Connect to iTunes and it will say iTunes has detected a phone restore software. Click yes. And let it so all the work.
Try to sync with i-tunes account may be it will get restore otherwise only one option call to apple care.

- What do i do if i forgot my iphone password? Okay so i was messing around on the settings on my iphone 3g and i set a password which uses the keyboard so i set a pass word then decided that i should change it back and when it asks to re enter the password it says its wrong! The next time is 1 hour so please help! They password was "beyonce" if you must know! How could i have spelt it wrong twice when setting it the first time! Do i need to restore it? And will i lose some of my photos?
- IPhone 5 forgot password I I got an iPhone 5 a few hours ago and forgot the password. I connected my phone with iTunes and it is restoring. It says it will take TWO hours to restore. The time isn't the problem, I don't care how long I wait as long as the problem is solved. But what I wanted to know, is has anyone had this problem? Like having to wait so long? And if so, did it work? Because I was reading reviews and people said it got stuck or etc. Has anyone been in this situation?
- I set an iPhone restrictions password on my phone, but forgot it? My younger nephew was borrowing my phone for the week, so I turned restrictions on. But, I forgot the password. I have 9 failed attempts, what happens if I get to 10? I know the phone will be wiped, but does that mean everything will be put to factory settings, or that I can't use my phone at all, or I won't be able to guess the password anymore? I forgot the password right when i put it in… I tried re entering it and now i'm locked out for a whole hour. I tried the restore thing but the passcode is still there. I guess thats because i saved the memory of my Iphone to my computer. I probably going to go to Verison to get it unlocked, but do anyone kknow what to do?
