I found a verizon iphone: How to destroy service?

Hi, i found a Verizon iPhone 4, and call me a bastard but i'm keeping it. The person's service is still connected and I know verizons iPhones don't have sim cards… How can I destroy whatever chip is in it so the service is disconnected? Unless they just wind up cancelling it themselves…

Get it flashed to some other carrier if you want to use the phone as phone. Or you can just put it on Airplane Mode and use it as an iPod. You can mail this person (arghyle@rocketmail.com) who can help you get the phone flashed to other carrier.

You should return it… Don't be a total douche. Besides, there are apps that can also track the iPhone (more likely if it's an iPhone). It'll also probably end up getting canceled and blacklisted as well.

If it gets blacklisted, then you won't be able to use that iPhone at all as a phone (which basically makes the phone an overpriced iPod Touch).

  • Will dust destroy my iPhone? I've had an iPhone without a screen sitting in my drawer for a few months. I was meaning to purchase a new screen, but I just noticed it's covered in dust. Would the dust destroy the inside of my iPhone or at least specific components of it? What if I vacuumed the dust out?
  • Why do people destroy iPhones on youtube? Not just iPhones, there are hundreds of videos of people destroying expensive gaming consoles, TVs and other mobile phones. Why would they do that?
  • What is a fun way to destroy my iPhone 5? - 2 I have microwaved, drilled, grilled, water tested, car ran over, hammered, and more with my iPhone 5. I get paid to do this on my "TechRax" youtube channel. My question is what can I do next that can awe my audience? Or what would something that would shock you? Just be realistic, not like throwing an iPhone against a wall. I was thinking of maybe a freeze test. Thanks. Deep fry it! That's it!
