I found an iphone 4s? - 1

I found the phone back in april, tried getting in touch with the owner, called the persons mom and home numbers but no luck. I forgot about it until now. What should i do? It works fine and is in a very good condition. Money is kind of tight for me these days so i want to know where would be the best place to sell it.thanks.

Added (1). I don't want to get in trouble (meaning i don't want ppl thinking i stole it), i just want to get rid off it.

Ebay easily. You can also sell it to gamestop for cash, but i would not recommend it. Post it up on ebay. Gamestop is a rip off.

EBay. Don't take it to any store; they won't give you much. Even though eBay has fees, it's worth selling it there. People pay more for stuff on eBay than anywhere else I have sold things. I'd recommend listing it as an auction starting at $399.99 and have a buy it now button for $600. BUT. One thing you MUST do before selling it is call the service provider it belongs to and ask if it has a clean IMEI (AT&T) or ESN (anything other than AT&T). This means that it is not connected to any account, and it is not marked as lost or stolen.AT&T phones usually aren't a problem, but CDMA providers will not let you use a phone with a bad (blacklisted) ESN. If they tell you that the iPhone does not have a clean ESN, you must specifically state that the phone has a bad ESN in your eBay listing. If it's AT&T, you probably don't have to bother, but call them just in case.

  • Lost my iphone, claimed insurance but found my iphone. Will both work? My question is i recently lost my iphone 5 (t-mobile) and had already called insurance and am receiving my new iphone5 through insurance. T-mobile had told me that they have lock/blocked my lost phone. But recently my friend had found my phone and is mailing it to me but what i want to know is that will i be able to use both the iphones? Or is the one i lost really locked and unable to use?

  • I found an iPhone, can I sell it? I found an iPhone on the ground, put an advertisement on Craigslist, which ran for 30 days, no one got back to me.So, if I sell it are there any legal issues I should worry about?
  • I found an iPhone 4s, can I keep it? The poor thing was totally trashed. The screen completely cracked and the SIM card had sharpie all over it. I found this while on a trip in Miami, now that I'm back in Cali, I want to know if it's safe to use? I replaced the screen and changed the SIM. It was orginally registered with AT&T but they already cut the service.
