I got a new laptop, will it wipe out my iPhone's memory?
I recently got a new laptop, it's a Macbook Air and I'm syncing my phone to my iTunes account. I finished syncing it and I went to my music. A popup came up and it said I have changed the settings for my iPhone and if I would like to apply these changes. What will happen if I say yes? I haven't answered yet.
It will delete all your music and apps
It will delete music not bought from itunes. Apps should stay unless you jailbroke to get the apps illegally. Photos are saved.
- Would resetting an iPhone wipe out everything on my YouTube acct? I had to reset iPhone to factory settings. - Will iTunes wipe out my iPhone data if it wants to Set as New iPhone? I've owned an iPhone 5s for over a year, it's currently running iOS 10.3.3 but I've just connected to iTunes for the first time however I only get 2 options, either "Set it up as new iPhone" or "Restore from an old backup", but that last backup is from 2015. So, if if I select "As New iPhone" will it wipe out my data?
