I got a weird text message and I do not know what to think of it?
On my iPhone 6s, instead of a number, it says the contact is esqmk404&gmail.com. I've never replied, but I still have it on my phone because I don't know what to think of it.
Here's what it says:
"Be informed that your phone number was found in your documents as his next of kin contact me via, email: mrbw34lfcb@hotmail.com for details"
I think it's someone suspicious because what person would have an email like that? Plus, they do not make any sense. "As his next of kin"?
What should I do? Just delete it?

What should I do? Just delete it? Thats just a scam. Delete from phone. You done good by not responding back. If it was about inheritance or death in family it would never come by email Probably a scam. You can keep it for your records, or delete it if it annoys you. I recommend _not_ replying to the text or any email/address/number contained inside. I would advise to ignore it or delete it. Just ignore it, its a spam/scam spammer looking to get personal info from your to use to make a fake ID using the details that they ask you to send them. Normally these messages say something along the lines of your can get a ton of money by sending your full name, real phone numbers, address, blah blah and they will send you the money, debit card, check, whatever.
Of course you never see what they talk about and 6 months later you start getting hits on your credit report that you are opening accounts (or trying to) in several states.

- Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. I then responded to her, but it was sent as a text message this time and i have gotten no response. I'm not as much concerned about her responding or not, I just want to know if she will receive the message.
- My nephew got a message on his iPhone that we don't know what it means? My nephew was updating his iPhone to IOS6 at his friends house. A little while later he received a message on his phone that says: "Phone number added to "noahs ipod". "noahs ipod" is now using =1. ### (nephew's phone number) for iMessage". Can anyone tell me what that really means? And how do we get rid of that?
