I have a piece of rice stuck in my iphone 5 charger port

How do I get it out. I don't want to break something in there. The reason there's rice is because I dropped my phone in the tiniest bit of water and it messed up the speaker. They sounded terrible. But thankfully in some amazing way the rice fixed it and not it sound perfect. But I can't charge my phone bc of the rice, the charger won't even go in.

Easy. You go to a phone shop and have the rice taken out by the phone guy.

I would switch the phone off, take a pin (like a pin cusion pin) and carefully get it out with that. As long as you are not forceful you will be fine, you don't want to bend anything inside there. Its only rice so it shouldn't be a big deal. I heard chop sticks are good…

1). "The company" has specialtists that will remove it for $150 + a new charger.
2). Use a toothpick to carefully guide it out. The inner charger is a piece of plastic with flat metal bars on it, so you would have to push on something really hard to mess it up. Sonsidering the rice went in there easy, it should come out fairly easy.
3). Use a cottonswab with the cotton pulled off if you don't have a toothpick.
4). Use a strong vacume, but do not cover more then half the charger. Just the half with the rice in it.
5). Tweezers might also work. Make sure your phone is off though, this way you don't short any of the pins.

The piece of rice is flat on the bottom of the charger port and it is stuck pretty good

The rice piece was stuck in knowingly and was crushed when the charger was inserted in the port. The dust of the crushed rice has clogged the port. Can I still use a toothpick to free it up?

Rice got push in the port hole, tryed lots of pins and tooth picks, any other ways to get it out.

In the future use a tooth brush to bruybruysh out all tiny Debi from rice then use a safety pin to pry out the small bit oif grain

Clearly if you put it in rice put tape over charge outlet!

Welp I recently splashed my phone with water and I just put it in a bag of rice and now the rice is stuck really deep down my charging port and my phone is 1%. But I'm going to a phone guy welp actually a woman will fix it so yeah not that big of a deal
