I have a problem with my car aux cable?

Whenever I plug in my iPhone to my aux cable into my car the sound is all fuzzy and only plays through certain speakers. And the phone has to be held in a certain position for the sound to work so I have to hold it up and keep it still which I obviously can't do when driving. Anyone else had this problem? Is it the phone or the car, I want it sorted - thanks

It sounds to me like you've got the incorrect aux cable, or it is faulty. Less likely but also possible is that at some previous time you put too much strain on the aux jack and have fractured the internal connection. You also might have not gone into the menu section and properly set things up.

Have you tried a different aux cable? The most likely problem is with the cable.

Make sure you're able to plug the cable into the phone all the way--sometimes a case or protective sleeve won't let you plug the cable in fully.

Try a different cable. If that doesn't fix it, try plugging a different phone or any portable audio player (anything with a headphone jack, really) into the car to see if it has the same problem. If it does, then the problem is in the car jack; if not, the problem is in the phone.

Just because you put a question mark at the end of the sentence does not make it a question.
That is a statement.
Your problem is the cable, it has broken copper wire inside, hidden inside the insulation, it only works at a certain angle, certain position where the actual copper wire inside is touching/connecting.
Get a new cable.
