I have an iphone 5 but won't activate?
I bought an iphone 5 won't activate i tried with every sim (verizon, tmobile, att) BUT STILL. After i try it says if can't activate contact apple support. I have but still didn't fix. I spent alot of $$ for a phone that dosent activate. Can any1 help!
Is it unlocked? You might need to call your service provider to have them update your account information. Its more than likely that the iPhone has not registered the sim, and can't get connectivity. The cell service provider customer support can help you get that set up.
- What will happen if i have a warranty but jailbroke it but then unjailbroke it? Will i have my warranty because i really need my sleep button fixed on my iphone. is there a way to get my phone fixed. also they said they will give me a new iphone but i'm worried about the jailbreak. ps i unjailbroke it so will i have my warrenty back if not help
- What's the reason why you have to have a SIM card to activate an iPhone? What if I want to use my phone after my plan gets canceled. Is that legal without a sim? And is it legal to use someone's sim to activate it if my phone software brakes. But what's the reason that you need one to get into the iPhone? That doesn't seem right at all to not allow someone to get into an iPhone that has one.
- What if I order an iphone 4 from verizon but don't activate it when I get it? It's upgrade time but my dad doesn't want to add 30 dollars to our family plan because it is already pretty expensive. (It cost 30 dollars I think, to add another smart phone to the plan) So if I got an iphone, would it add it to the plan anyway and what if I don't ativate it?

The reason I want to order it is in case it goes out off stock before I'm due my upgrade 3rd of november, so my question is can I buy the iphone 5 contract phone then activate it two weeks after it arrives as it won't get here until 2-3 weeks anyways? And I'm not being an iphone 'sheep' I want the iphone 5 thanks!
