What if I order an iphone 4 from verizon but don't activate it when I get it?
It's upgrade time but my dad doesn't want to add 30 dollars to our family plan because it is already pretty expensive. (It cost 30 dollars I think, to add another smart phone to the plan) So if I got an iphone, would it add it to the plan anyway and what if I don't ativate it?
If you get it from Verizon, you would have to activate it. Even if you don't, it'll be charged to the family plan. Just get an iPod Touch.

- I purchased a used Verizon iPhone 4 and want to activate it on my Verizon account? A friend uses her dad's old iPhone on her AT&T account as her phone without a data plan. I want to do the same and replace my 12 year old's flip phone. Verizon says I must purchase another data plan to activate this phone to my account. Any suggestions? Otherwise we're thru with Verizon.
