I have black horizontal lines and a circle on my iPhone 6 screen?
I had a shower and put my phone on a side and when I got out of the shower a bit of water dripped onto my phone, I thought nothing of it as it was a tiny drop and I have a screen protector on, I went to get a towel and came back and dried my screen, about 10 minutes whilst I was on my phone the screen went grey and showed the lines and the circle it then went back to normal and about 5 seconds later it showed the lines and the circle again and now they are on the screen all the time, they are extremely noticeable on white backgrounds and they look as if there permanently there as they never move around, I belive its water damage and have had a look online and it said to put it in a pack of rice for a few days, is there anything else I could do to revert the damage or not
As I finished typing this up I noticed that the keyboard and the image is burnt onto the screen (also I tried typing this update earlier but my phone completely crashed and I couldn't do anything) again many thanks
The damage has been done, the rice trick can only work to prevent damage, as it has already been done there's nothing to prevent. You will need to get the phone fixed by a professional.
- There's a black circle on my iphone screen? I accidentally put a little water onto my phone and when I wiped it off there was a small circle on it. I touched it and it sort of became bigger. I can still see my screen but the area with the spot makes it a lot lighter than the area around it. I'm just a little scared that the spot will turn into something really bad. And I can't go and fix it cuz I just got my glass fixed from when I dropped it. Can someone just tell me what the spot is? And how to fix it.
