You can call your carrier and report the phone stolen so it will be blacklisted by your carrier.

If you had Find My iPhone installed you could lock it, put it in lost mode as well as make it sound even if it is on silent mode & locate it if on an internet connection.

As far as blacklisting it, you'd have to contact your carrier.
