I'm fed up with my husband. He wants to be cheap with food but give all the kids iPhones?

He makes 100 thousand dollars a year. I only make 25,000
So of course he does all the grocery shopping for the household
He wants to give our 3 children iPhones then for dinner I find out they all are eating frozen pizza. I used his credit card a few times to buy some orange juice and fruit and he was saying " that stuff is expensive as crap" and I said " I don't care. Take away the phones then' and it wasn't even expensive. It was 2-3$ fruit and REAL orange. Stuff he never buys but is essential
He tried to cook once and the kids said " this stuff taste like throw up I'm not eating this"

Lol… Go shopping with him, tell him you need to teach the kids to eat better.

Why don't you go shopping with him?
Then go see a marriage counselor.

You should be able to go shopping with him, and if he refuses just say its from your salary

Why don't you shop together so you can be part of the decision-making process or set up a joint account for household expenses - since $25K is 1/4th of $100K - you should come up with the amount you need to run the shared household every month and you can put in 1/4 and he can put in 3/4.

If I were you I would get lots of nurtitional leaflets ect and show him why your children need all the goodness of theses vital foods such as real juice and fruit and veggies, explain that phones should not be the main thing for children, as a lot of the time its more harmful for them they are more at risk of getting mugged ect, hopefully make him see sense.

I'm hoping this isn't a real question. After 3 kids, don't you think maybe it's time to sit down with him and discuss finances? Like most financial disagreements, this isn't about money. It's about communication (or lack of it).

Just as one example, it makes no sense when you say he buys the groceries because he makes more. Huh? My husband is an oncologist who makes a lot more than I could ever dream of, yet there's no way he buys groceries. But we actually talk to each other. Try it.

For your information, orange juice is full of sugar. You sound like a jealous wife. Maybe the kids love your husband. He sounds nice

Your story doesn't add up. If you guys made that much money food wouldn't be an issue. If he really made 100k than he is a professional. He doesn't sound professional. If for some freak reason this story has any truth, than tell him you will do the grocery shopping.
