I'm getting text messages from random people?
So my friend texted me asking for a minecraft server and i tried to connect to it and failed but then he randomly sent me a picture of his cat and i noticed and checked out the picture and it was under a different number so i opened the picture on my iphone since ime texting off it and after viewing it i got messages from two people one say 'tori then moon and back' and then 'reanna yeager.who are you?!' so then i asked my friend if he was texting me/ spamming me and then he said know so i talked to the two random people for a bit and was trying to get them to tell me how they got my number but they never said so i just stopped texting them and soon after i stopped another person texted me which i have not replied back. They havint called me yet or texted me since but they kept asking me what my name was then i told them a fake name and then I said it may be my real name it may not and one of them freaked out and cussed at me asking me to tell them what my name was which i never told them so i have no idea what to do cause i'm a little freaked out been looking outside my window since and should i restore my iPhone just in case of spyware or something please help me!
Added (1). PS: I put my phone in airplane mode and 3g off just incase of gps tracking and I turned off my phone…
Well it could be a group of ppl trying to freak u out, maybe they made up your number or something, some apps you may have downloaded or something you signed into it could be anything or anyone i don't know lol, hope they stop
- Random people texting me what do I do? Today I got a random text from a group that had 2 people in it. They asked me if I was their friend(Jacob) who got a different number. Not only do I not know them I don't know who Jacob is. They are pissing me off because they keep texting me after I told them to stop. I have an iphone 5 and I don't know how to block their numbers. Should I call the cops or have them blocked?

- IPhone receives text conversations from random people? My dad's iPhone 4 keeps receiving text conversations from several numbers. There are outgoing messages as well, as if he sent them (but he didn't because he doesn't text).In other words, it's as if he's watching two people text a conversation. Before calling our service provider, what can we do? By the way, he bought the iPhone used. But he's had it for a few months already and this just started happening now.
